No more font or formatting problems after edits
These terms apply to the Seamtype browser editor (seamtype.com). By using it you accept them. The operator's name and contact address will be given here before the public launch.
The editor is in beta and free of charge. It may change, have faults or be unavailable at times, and its features and limits may change. When the beta ends, we will say so on this site before anything changes for you.
You keep every right to your documents. We use them only to provide the editor and, as the Privacy page says, to fix errors when an edit fails.
Open only documents you are allowed to change and to send to an online service.
Changing documents to deceive anyone — forging certificates, official papers, invoices, signatures or any document presented as unchanged.
Anything unlawful, or editing documents of others without their permission.
Overloading or attacking the service, or getting round its limits by automated means.
The editor checks every change and refuses one it cannot make cleanly, but you are responsible for the documents you download and use: read them before you send or sign them. Compare shows what changed.
A signature put on a page with Sign is a picture of your signature, as on a signed and scanned paper. It is not a digital (certificate) signature.
The editor is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from its use or from its being unavailable.
We may change these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed.
